At Coco Verde, we believe that community is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Mutual Feelings, a dynamic social club created to empower Black women through inclusive and uplifting events. We joined them for the Sweet Dreams Soirée, a fun and intimate slumber party-themed night designed to bring women in San Francisco together for a celebration of sisterhood, self-care, and meaningful connections.
As the evening kicked off, the cozy venue was filled with women in their comfiest and most stylish pajamas, ready for a night of joy, laughter, and new friendships. The atmosphere was electric, with warm conversations flowing as everyone connected over shared experiences. Mutual Feelings curated the perfect mix of games and activities, creating a space where we could all unwind, let loose, and celebrate ourselves.
Coco Verde had the incredible opportunity to share our products with the group. It was such an honor to introduce our Sweet Jade hair oil, Chocolate Ivy wood comb to this beautiful community of women. Seeing everyone engage with our products, ask questions, and get excited about our natural, texture-inclusive approach to beauty was truly inspiring. The feedback and love we received reaffirmed why community-driven experiences are at the core of what we do at Coco Verde.
The Sweet Dreams Soirée wasn’t just about games and product sampling, though—it was a powerful reminder of the importance of building community. In a world where Black women’s voices can sometimes go unheard, creating safe, supportive spaces like this is essential. Mutual Feelings and Coco Verde share a common mission of empowering Black women to celebrate themselves, connect with one another, and find strength in unity.
We left the event with full hearts, grateful for the chance to be a part of such a meaningful night. It’s moments like these that remind us that we are stronger together and that creating bonds within our community is as nourishing as any beauty product. We’re excited for future collaborations with Mutual Feelings and look forward to continuing to build spaces where we can celebrate, uplift, and empower one another.
